Mission

Nowadays, despite the regulations, medical and technological advances, there is still a high mortality rate in work environments due to the activities carried out in these or the characteristics of the workplace. This leads to these jobs having a low desirability among the population and a high rate of precariousness, which is extremely detrimental due to the essential nature that these jobs normally entail. Moreover, people who choose to work in these environments must risk their personal integrity in order to exercise their fundamental right to work. This project is focused on the development of an intelligent protection equipment (PEE) which will be deployed in work environments with a high risk of accidents in order to prevent them and study these environments. The system consists of a smartwatch, an android application, server, and a web visualisation tool. This architecture seeks to bring the necessary data to the right people in the right environment, thus allowing to avoid dangers while it is deployed and to carry out complete studies of the environment posteriori.
